Chief Financial Officer

Recruiting a full-time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will be responsible for all financial functions of the City of Shelbyville including, but not limited to: managing revenue and accounts; preparing the annual budget; overseeing investments; performing bank reconciliations; and overseeing the city’s risk management program.

City CFO Ordinance

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in accounting, business or public administration, or any other closely related financial field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CCFM) certification; five (5) years experience in municipal financial management; or any other combination of education, training, and experience which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Salary: Starting annual range $45,830-$78,110 based on education and experience. Excellent benefit package.
