Public Works Department—MECHANIC

Recruiting a full-time Mechanic to perform duties such as, but not limited to: preventative maintenance and repair of vehicles/equipment, from chainsaws to large dump trucks; garage maintenance; snow plowing; pipe installation; storm clean-up; clean-up from special events; and general events related to the Public Works Department

Qualifications: Graduation from high school or equiv. Minimum of one (1) year training in automotive and/or heavy equipment trade school or company training, with four (4) years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of vehicles/equipment. Must already possess or earn a CDL within 6 months of hire. Must be able to respond to 24-7 call out for emergency situations at all hours.

Hourly Range: $13.45 – $23.08/hour based on experience, with excellent benefits.
