Al Minnis, Public Works Supervisor The City of Shelbyville Public Works Department provides a number of services for residents, including, but not limited to leaf pick-up, snow removal, limb pick up (due to storm damage), as well as pothole repair. Drains are cleaned and repaired or replaced as necessary. Mini-parks and lots owned by the city are mowed weekly during the summer. The Public Works Department is responsible for keeping our city streets clean, and free of debris, which includes trash collection in the downtown area weekly. This is all a part of the commitment of the Public Works department to keep Shelbyville residents and visitors as safe as possible. Requests for services can be made by calling 633-1094, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. |
